Exciting News: 'Suikoden: The Anime' Set to Debut in 2026
Konami has announced an upcoming anime adaptation of their classic role-playing game Suikoden II. The official X (formerly Twitter) account shared the news on Tuesday, revealing that the anime will premiere in 2026. Along with the announcement, a new visual image was also unveiled.

Behind the Scenes
Yūzō Satō is directing the anime at KONAMI animation, the studio responsible for the game’s anime adaptations. Ryō Hino, a member of NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan’s anime and music production team, is serving as producer and production manager.

Konami describes the story as follows:

Remastered Release and Platforms
The Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars was released in 2023 after a delay. The remastered versions are available on multiple platforms, including:

- PlayStation 5 and 4
- Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
- PC via Steam
The release was postponed from its original 2023 date to ensure quality and a better gameplay experience.
About the Series
